AAF Greenville Seeking Silver Medal Award Nominations

GREENVILLE, S.C. (January 24, 2013) – AAF Greenville, the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF),  is seeking nominations for the 2013 Silver Medal Award. Nomination forms, which can be found by clicking here, are due March 4, 2013.

The Silver Medal Award is the highest honor a local AAF club can give to an individual. Founded in 1959, the award recognizes men and women who have made outstanding contributions to advertising, been active in furthering industry standards, exhibited creative excellence and demonstrated responsibility in areas of community development. Specifically, candidates are judged on the following merits:

-       Contribution to Their Company

-       Creative Ability

-       Contributions to the General Advancement of Advertising

-       Contributions to the Community

Nominees are not required to be a member of AAF Greenville. Nominations are reviewed by a panel of judges that includes former Silver Medal Award recipients, current and past AAF Greenville Presidents and Board Members.  The winner will be presented the award during a ceremony in May/June (Date TBD).

Entries must be emailed or postmarked on or before March 4, 2013.
