
Every year through the development of two separate internships, the American Advertising Federation of Greenville offers students a chance to gain real working experience at a Greenville advertising-related business.
The Bill Leslie Internship, named for The Leslie Agency’s founder, Bill Leslie, awards $1,000 to the winning student after he/she completes an 8-10 week summer internship with a Greenville advertising-related business.
Criteria for applying:

Must be a rising college senior |

Must be majoring in one of the following areas:
Advertising, English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media Arts/Production, Graphic Arts/Design |

Must be a student from a diverse background, i.e.; African-American, Hispanic, Asian |

Must be maintaining a 2.5 GPA
All students must submit their college transcripts and resumes, along with the application form by March 14th, 2008. Students will be notified if chosen as a finalist, and an interview time will be scheduled.

1. What is your preference on how applicants submit their resumes, transcripts, and application form, e.g., e-mail, postal mail? Resumes and Applications are accepted through email or postal mail. Your transcripts are not necessary.
2. What housing options are available for interns? Unfortunately, we can not provide any housing options for interns coming to the upstate.
3. Which dates are set for the internship? The start/finish dates are flexible as long as the internship goes for 8 weeks depending on the host company.
4. How many hours/week does the intern work? The host company will often have a requested workday schedule. Please plan for 8 hours a day.
